Presentation on Finnish Innovation Companies

Staircase at the Kaisa University Library
I attended a presentation by Sam Northern. He is another Fulbright Teacher selected to do research at the University of Helsinki. This took place at the Kaisa Library which is one of the libraries for the University of Helsinki. He talked about phenomena learning. He has been studying on how to use technology and virtual reality in learning.

Students studying at the Library

Sam giving his talk. The foot gives the website every teacher can log into to access his findings.

Sam is just a talented writer. His blog is superb. He is a librarian in Kentucky and needs to teach technology for 1-6 graders. He visited many Finnish innovation companies to search out new tools to use in his classrooms. He loves to share his findings and hopes to get his students excited about technology. He presented some of his finding during his speech and copied the websites here, so I don’t forget to read more about them when I have time. These findings may also give an idea to my teachings. Way to go Sam! https://pbltoolkit.weebly.com http://seppo.io/en/ https://mightifier.com http://mehackit.org http://3dbear.io https://www.lupoworld.com
